Summer Fashion Courses (June 1 - July 23 - 90 or 45 hours)

The Summer Fashion Courses for Stylist, Designer, Pattern Maker, Dressmaker, Cutting and Sewing, are proposed by the Fashion Institute Treviso (Italy) in the period 1 - 30 June / 1 - 23 July for all those who want to approach and / or engage in the amazing world of fashion. The lessons are individual, personalized and offer a significant and complete update in a short time. Each student chooses their own topics that they wish to study in depth, starting from scratch or from a school or work experience. Group lessons, but individual character. Each teacher follows 5 - 8, maximum 10 students.

The Summer Course includes one or two 3-hour lessons per day which will take place from Monday to Friday, 9:00 am - 12:00 pm / 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm.
At the end of the Fashion Summer Courses you will receive the Certificate of Attendance.

The course is carried out according to the Study Method, the Programs and the patented Books of the Istituto di Moda Burgo (Milan) - the famous Italian fashion school.

Acceptance conditions for our Summer Fashion Courses (duration 45 or 90 hours):

1. minimum age - 14 years completed
2. there are no entrance exams or entrance specimens
3. maximum seriousness is required (the courses are very demanding), passion for fashion, discipline, motivation, tenacity;
4. no special requirements are required.

The choice of the Summer Fashion Course based on your needs:

1. If you want to draw clothes, make paper patterns and sew, you can do a Summer Fashion Stylist Sourse.
2. If you just want to design clothes, you should take a Summer Fashion Designer Course.
3. If you want to make the pattern and sew, you can do a Summer Pattern Making Course. The course foresees the elaboration and packaging of paper patterns and prototypes. Placing of paper patterns on fabric, cutting and packaging of basic prototypes.
4. If you have already gained experience in clothing packaging, you can take a Summer Fashion Dressmaking Course.
5. If you want to sew clothes for yourself and you are just starting out or you have little experience we can start with a Summer Cutting and Sewing Course.

Enrollment

To send the registration request, select the desired course type (90 hours / 45 hours), click on the "application form" button, fill in the form that will appear on the screen and wait for the reply from the school. Once we have accepted your request you’ll receive a confirmation e-mail with all the details and further instruction for the completion of the registration procedure.

We will ask you to send us a copy of your identity card or passport and to pay the registration fee by bank transfer. The data necessary for the transfer will be indicated in the acceptance confirmation e-mail. 

Cost of the Courses

Total cost of Short Course of 90 hours is: € 1,000 + € 250 (registration) = € 1,250
Total cost of Short Course of 60 hours is: € 660 + € 250 (registration) = 910 €.
Total cost of Short Course of 45 hours is: € 500 + € 250 (registration) = 750 €.
The prices are inclusive of VAT.

Cutting and Sewing Summer Course (90 / 45 hours) (1 June - 23 July) Program:  Measure Studio • Study of the wearability • Design of basic paper patterns with Burgo method • Pattern Making Techniques • Placement on Fabric, testing and any corrections • Realization of 2 - 3 simple heads with various finishing and ironing techniques (skirt, dress or shirt)

The registration fee is not refundable.

Where not specified, prices are inclusive of VAT.
* The registration fee also includes: curved ruler, delineator and one of the books "Il Modellismo" or "Il Figurino".

Lessons take place every day: from Monday to Friday, at the following times: 9:00 am - 12:00 am / 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm. 
2 lessons per day can also be taken (as provided for the intensive course).

For Fashion Summer Courses with a duration of 45 or 90 hours (8 or 15 working days) non-EU students, or those who in any case need visas for Italy, can request a tourist visa for 15 - 25 days, obtained from the Italian Embassy or Consulate in the country of origin.
